Counterfeit Kit Layout One

Okay as soon as I saw the kit that was picked as the Counterfeit Kit for this month I knew I wanted to create a forgery of the doily looking paper.
 I have a large Kaiser Craft Stencil that I have not used yet and knew that the Colour Blast Coloured Paste would like divine through it. I actually created this background before I knew how I was going to scrap it!!
Here is how I made it;

Sprinkle a small amount of Colour Blast Colour Shimmer Dust (I used the colour Navy) on to some white cardstock
Spray the Colour Shimmer Dust with some water and Colour Shimmer Spray (I used the colour Envy) Keep spraying until it blends and spreads across the page.
When dry place a stencil across the cardstock and spread some Colour Blast Colour Paste (the colour is Just Blue) through the it using a flat ended tool (I use an old Medicare card or store card).
Be careful lifting the stencil from the cardstock.
 Such a fun and easy way to create a unique looking background for a layout.
I finished off my layout with a few embellishments and a photo of my daughter Bronte. If you want to know more about the wonderful range of Colour Blast products then please pop in and have a look at the store.

Another beautiful piece of original work - I really love that column of goodies down the center of the page *making a mental note of that!
