Bad Mother or keen scrapper???

Well how could I resist taking these photos?? I heard Bronte crying and turned around to see that she was stuck head first in the cats tunnel. The camera was right on the kitchen table beside the tunnel so I had to snap a few shots. There was no way she could have hurt herself and once she got her head out she soon stoped crying. She was more frustrated than upset. But it was funny a both Adrian and I had a good laugh. So does this make me a bad mother?? Or a very keen scrapper??

See no tears - she is alright.

Hope you all had a Happy Easter

Hope you all had a great Easter. It was Bronte's first Easter and she really enjoyed it. She isn't too keen on chocolate a few bites from her eggs and she is done. But she does like making a mess with them. Here are a few cheeky shots of her and one of her many eggs.

If you look closely in this last photo you can see Bronte's third tooth. It is her right canine tooth - so look on the left side of her top gum. She is going to look like a cute little vampire for a few months.

Good Friday

Good Friday saw us down on the Rockingham Foreshore where there was a mini show set up. We went down to have a look. Two trips around the whole show took us about half an hour, so it really was a mini show. We got a couple of ticket in the big prize lucky draw and ended up winning with the number 400. So I picked out a green and blue dinosaur. Wasn't really that many toys that we don't have already there.
Bronte liked the dinosaur and it is just the right size for her to sit on.

I'm still getting used to my new Camera so the photos are a bit over exposed - I'm trying to take the camera of automatic and take shots on manual. Getting there slowly.

That is all that we did for Good Friday except some boring house work - it just never stops. I wish I had a good housekeeping fairy that would magically take care of all my house work. Well I can wish can't I???

WoW!!!!

Just a cute photo I took today that I had to share.

Look who is standing

Miss Bronte can stand all by herself now. She has been doing it since the start of March but she is so quick I haven't been able to get it on campera......until today. These photos are of her putting her fairy circle on her head - I can't get her to keep a hat on but give her anything like the fairy circle or Easter Bunny ears and she tries to put it on her head herself. Mind you once there they only stay on for a split second before being pulled off and she is trying to put it on again. I think she just likes doing things for herself.

White with one.

There is this new challenge blog that is kind of cool and lots of fun. You have to do a LO using the base colour of white and then one other colour. The other colour is set by Susan who runs the blog and also there is usually one other ingredient that has to be added. For example in February it was a love embellishment, for March the word luck or lucky. If you like the sound of this pop over to here; http://whitewith1.blogspot.com/ and have a look.

Here are my layouts that I have done.
So Lucky
March Entry my layout about Bronte and how lucky we are to have her.
I love this photo of her - I had to photo shop it to get all the food off her face as it was taken after she tried to feed herself for the first time. More ended up on her, the highchair and the floor than in her mouth. But she has fun. I just love how you can see her two teeth - very cute.

Sweet dreams Sweetheart

February's entry is a layout about Bronte. This photo was taken when she was two months old, a sweet photo of her sleeping.

Out the Backyard today

Kisses from Tiara
The girls sitting pretty
Tiara smiling for the camera
Nanook larger than life
Sharnii behaving herself .... as usual.

Nanook with the last word ..... like always!

Just some photo I took of the dogs out in the yard this afternoon. Bronte is cutting a tooth - one of her top canine teeth and she has been whine and clingy all day. She want's cuddles one minute then wants down the next, she really didn't know what she wanted. The only thing that made her happy was going outside and playing in the grass and with the dogs. Hopefully the tooth comes down and we get out happy baby back.

Enchanted Scrapbooking

Jody and her family have moved to Darwin so we put our heads together and found a way for us to scrap together still. We came up with the idea of doing some packs up and scrapping them. So we are still kind of scrapping together. We put a blog together where we post our pages. After a little while we decided to sell out packs - so now we sell them on out blog.
Anyway follow the link below and have a look at our layouts and our packs. You will have to follow the links on the Enchanted Scrapbooking sites to got into the gallery for the pages.

Mandurah Crab Festival

Today we headed down to Mandurah to see what the big whohar was all about - they have been advertising the Festival on the T.V. and radio everytime you turn them on. Melena came with us. Well we drove the 30 minutes or so down the road, find a park at Hog Breath and walk down to the foreshore. It is a small street festival, live entertainment, a tiny side show alley and a few market stalls. The best part of it was about five stalls fenced off for some wine tasteing. The worst part ...... the smell of seafood everywhere!!! I should have thought of that ..... after all it was a Crab Festival. After a couple of hours wandering around and having a look. We walked back up the road and the the best part of the day happened!!! We had lunch at Hogs Breath!!! MMmmm yummy steak and two cocktails!!!
Silly me forgot to take the camera so I have no photos of the day - oh well it wasn't that exciting anyway.

Top50 Cyber Crop

Not a Cat Person
A photo I took of Adrian and Gizmo. The page is about how Adrian always tells me that he isn't a cat person ..... yet every now and then I catch him like this. Well I used to with Gizmo, but he isn't with us anymore. Pixie and Gremlin don't come any where near Adrian ..... unless he is feeding them or eating chips!!!
Precious Daughter
A photo I took of myself and Bronte when she was a couple of days old. I have actually journalled a letter for Bronte and put it under the photo. Hopefully when she is older she will read it. All the material that I have used on this Layout is from next months Enchanted Scrapbooking Fun Fairy Pack. SO all of you who see it now are getting a sneak peak. I tell you what ..... it was so easy to use and the layout jsut came together so well.

Tink Time
I took these photo yesterday. I was sitting with Bronte on the floor and we where playing with her toys. She pulled the stuffed Tinkerbell out of the toybox and started to play with it. I just had to grab the camera and take a few photos. I just hope that she keeps loving fairies jsut as much as I do.

Some class layouts from Just Scrapbooking and the first of Bronte's songs album

Fairy Princess
This is Bronte at seven months old. She had mastered sitting up all by herself and liked to stare out the window and watch the dogs.
This is a page that I did for Just Scrapbooking. I was teaching a class on how to make your own Tiaras and wings - this was the page that I placed the wings and tiaras onto to show the ladies how it looked with different ones on it. I didn't actually end up sticking any of the tiaras or wings onto it ..... I will one day.
Fairy Wings and other Magical Things
This is the page that the ladies in the Tiara's and wings class actually ended up doing. It was a simple layour because the focus was on making different types of wings and tiaras. It was a fun class to do.

I can sing a rainbow

This is going to be one of many layouts that I do - each one is going

to be a song that I sing with Bronte.

Layouts for Just Scrapbooking

Eat it!!!
We had an early Easter this year as my Mum (Grammy) came over for the month of February to get to know Bronte. Both Bronte and Grammy had a ball and really loved each other from the very first day.
This page is of Bronte and her reation to being given her very first Easter Egg. I just love the look on her face when she realised what to do with it.
A tissue, a tissue we all fall down
Another page for Bronte's songs album. This layout is about the mischief that Bronte can get into all by herself. We know she is up to somehting when it all goes quiet. I grab the camera and go looking for what she is doing .... just to get some evidence.

Tranquility

Bronte loves being ouside just watching everything happen around her. These photos where taken when we went down south to Karri Valley Resort, Pemberton in January. On the moring we where leaving to come home Bronte just sat by the lake watching the ducks and the butterflies. It was lovely. Little Peta Rabbit has a fly upon her nose

Another songs layout. The rabbit is a present from Grammy and Bronte loves to cuddle with it on the floor. We had to change the sex of Peta Rabbit when we sing it as Bronte has an Aunty called Peta so now the song is about her Aunty Peta!!

Some new layouts

Never smile at a Crocodile
Another song page for Bronte's album. These photos where taken in the backyard while Bronte played with a couple of plastic crocodiles that I brough home from work. I wanted to see what she would do with them. Well I think it is obvious - she loved them and didn't hesitate to play with them at all.
Then Now
This layout is about Bronte and Me!!! I am the baby on the left. I just wanted to show everyone that even though everyone says she looks like Adrian a little bit of me slips through the cracks. This is another LO for Just Scrapbooking

Little Princess

Another LO I have done for Just Scrapbooking. It is just a quick one about how glad we are that Bronte is here.

1st Easter
More photos of Bronte's first (early) Easter with Grammy here. Can't you just tell that she loved the attention that she got?? This is another LO for Just Scrapbooking.

Cammando Crawling

The only photos I got of Bronte Cammando Crawling - it only lasted three days before she discovered that she could crawl and she hasn't looked back since.

Just some random photos

Just some random photo of Bronte over the last few months.
