123 Challenge Blog

This is my latest 123 Layout. The challenge was to use paint splatter, two stamps and two techniques and to also only use your scraps. It was a lot of fun doing it - it feels like ages since I used my paints.



I also have used this as the April Challenge on Enchanted Two - Seeing as I can't win the prize I thought I would cheat a little bit.

Happy Easter Everyone.

I hope everyone has had a fantastic Easter. We started the day off with an Easter Egg hunt at 6.30 soon followed by lots of sticky fingers and faces to clean. Then it was a busy day of painting and playing in water - then a car ride to the Easter Festival....which I forgot to take the camera too!! At the festival the main attraction for the girls where the baby animal patting zoo. Bronte loved the big drake and Jasmine couldn't get over how soft the lambs wool was. Anyway here are a few highlights of our day.
Although it is Bronte's second Easter it was great seeing the excitement in her face, what a huge difference a year makes. She couldn't wait long enough to get into her stash - mind you she only opens one at a time and will eat the whole thing before opening another one. Unlike Jasmine who has three different Eggs on the go!!
Here are some shots of Jasmine and her stash - she had a great time leading Bronte around the house and yard looking for Easter Eggs. The Easter Bunny sure did spoil them.
It is unusually hot here this Easter - it makes a lovely change - I love the hot weather. So every chance Jasmine and Bronte have been playing in water. The had a great time splashing each other and throwing the balls around.
So is it only Little Miss B that loves to strip off and paint her whole body or do other kids to this?? It drives me totally nuts - especially when it comes to cleaning her up. Lucky me that she does strip off before she paints herself - all this paint on her clothes.....no thank you.
This fun filled day was topped off with a bike ride with Adrian to the park.
Hope everyone's Easter was as good as ours.

Buckethead - what else could I call this one? A page about Little Miss B who had climbed up into the sink to play.

Back to Nature. It is not very often I do a layout about myself, but here is one.

The Big Bed.

Okay another grown up thing that Little Miss B is doing. I don't know whether to be happy or sad. She is growing up so fast.
We have had her "Big Girl Bed" set up in her room for a few months now - usually it is just a place for all her stuffed toys, clothes and jumping on. But since Jasmine has arrived she has wanted to sleep in it. She tried last night for the first time and we had a long story time and a bottle but no sleep. I had to eventually move her to the cot because it became bouncing time.
But today for her nap she told me "Bug Bed" and lead me into her room. I had to lay with her for a few minutes and then she was out to it.

Busy Times with Jazzy

Jasmine has come over to spent some of her Easter Holidays with us. It is the first time that Bronte has meet any of her cousins. The have been getting along wonderfully. Bronte follow Jazzy around like a little puppy dog and Jasmine spoils her rotten.
Upon waking up in the morning Bronte now screams out "Mum UP!" I go and pick her up and then it is "Jazzy! Jazzy!" Bronte then has to go off and wake Jasmine up. Hope that Jasmine didn't plan on sleepin in whilst she is her - her morning wake up calls are 5.30!!!

First night giggle tummy time - I heard lots of laughter and giggles coming from the theatre room and this is what I found.

Another of "those" days.

Bronte just before we went out food shopping yesterday. She is now wearing size two clothes and looking and acting like a little girl. Where has my baby girl gone???

Another one of those days when Little Miss B gets into everything. I ducked off to put a load of washing on and look what I found when I came back - a wall drawn all over. Not a bad drawing mind you, but not in the location that I want to encourage. So as punishment Bronte got to clean off the wall......I think she enjoyed that more than actually drawing on the wall. Lucky for her the pen was a waterbased one and it came off really easy.

Well it is done.

I have finally finished my layouts and mini album for the Kaisercraft Design Team Call. Hope you all keep your fingers and toes crossed for me. Here is a sneak peak of what I have created. I'll post the whole thing once I hear ..... one way or another.
