A relaxing weekend.

Just a normal weekend this weekend. Which was good for a change. Here are a few photos of what we gor up to.

These photos where taken by Adrian before he sailed, but we do this every Saturday Morning so I thought I would put them in. Bronte loves her swimming lessons.

Just playing in the front yard and blowing away wishes.

Bronte having a dance all by herself on the front pavement.

Bronte having a ride on her Unicorn. She has only just relised that it is for riding on and not sweeping the floor with.

Here are are few layouts that I have done recently for Just Scrapbooking. They are not the best photos of my layouts that I have taken but the lighting was shocking.

Fun and games this weekend

I am going to keep this blog up to date a little bit more from now on. Seeing as we can actually view it from work now - can't post to it but we can see it. It gives me the opportunity to post regular photos here for Adrian to see. He actually gets to see them now on the Internet on the ship. So he can see how much his little girl is growing whilst he is off sailing the seas.

I am having trouble with writing near the photos so I will just write it here in a list so you can understand what is going on in each of the collages.

Collage 1. "I have my own Sunnies - but Mums are better!!!"

Collage 2. Here she is playing in the spare shower area with a few containers of water - pour her little heart out for at least half an hour. Poor Gremlin when he walked in to use his kitty litter tray and coped squirt of water to the face. The glees of laughter where very cute.

Collage 3. Just hanging out in the front yard.

Collage 4. Little Miss B getting ready for Day Care on Friday - this is her "but..... Mum I just need my Dummy" look. Those eyes - who could say no to those?

March 123 Blog Challenge

Here is my layout for the 123 Blog Challenge for the month of March. The challenge was to use Autumn colours, so orange, yellow and browns, to use texture and hand made flowers.

I had a heap of fun dragging out the paints, stamps, glitter and ink.

The Mis-adventures of Bronte

I am thinking of changing the name of my Blog to "The Mis-adventures of Bronte the Brat!!!" Well I should. I had a very active weekend, keeping my eye on "The Brat". Every time I turned around she was up to something new.
I ducked off to the toilet at one stage and come back to find this. The little Brat had pulled her chair over to the sink, climbed on up into it and was painting with my paint sponge on the window with Gumption. I asked her what she was doing, her reply "washing".
Yes well, she was quickly taken out of the sink and told not to get up there again. We had tears and tantrums but one good thing came from it. My window is not sparkling clean!
My kitchen bench is now "Bronte the Brat" proof. I think that the little white chair is going to be put away for a little while until she realises her boundaries.

New Skirt

Whilst out shopping on the weekend Bronte spotted this skirt, it did come with a long sleeved top but she only wants the skirt on.
Anyway put on a hissy fit when she saw it and I caved in. Only because I was thinking of how cute it would be in photos. (Yeah I know I am a sad, sad scrapaholic!!!)
So when we got home off came her normal clothes and on goes the skirt. Then low and behold she starts running around the front yard and posing. I tried her with the angel wings but just like the new shirt it came off in a split second.
The skirt is now fixed to her - so expect to see a lot more photos with her wearing the skirt ..... and not much else.

Baby Love

Bronte got a Baby Alive for Christmas and she has been in love with it ever since. Here are some happy shots of her and her "Baby". I don't know who gets more of the water out of the bottle - Bronte or Baby.
Bronte is also now showing off for the camera - I only have to point it at her now and she puts on this fake smile and says "cheese".
Sorry about the top of Bronte's head being cut off. This is my first play with the Picassa Collage Program and it keeps cutting off the top of all my photos.

The Bicky Bandit

You just know that you are in trouble when you hear the beeping of the fridge door that has been ajar too long and it is only you and the little terror home.
I was on the computer and Bronte was happily dancing in front of the TV to High Five. All of a sudden I hear beep beep. I get up thinking that she had just opened the door, but no. This is what I find. Her chair dragged along the floor, pushed up to the fridge, the door wide ajar, a packet of shapes on the bottom of the fridge and Bronte back in front of the TV with a bowl full of shapes.
How could I argue with that? At least I know that while Adrian is away if anything (touch wood) bad should happen to me then at least Bronte can survive on the food that she can reach in the fridge. Needless to say the fridge has now been rearranged and any food or drink that she is not allowed to touch is up high out of reach. But I suspect that it will only be out of reach until she works out that she can actually climb up into the fridge.

Some Scrapping

I have had a productive weekend so far and there still is a whole day to go!!! Maybe I should do some washing before I get caught up in my scrapping tomorrow???

I have done two layouts for Just Scrapbooking Design Team. Must say I like this new Basic Grey range. It is a lovely range, very soft and feminine.
The photo in this layout was taken at Aidan's Birthday Party in January, it was a fancy dress party, so I just had to dress Bronte like Tinkerbell.

The next layout is a double. I am doing more and more doubles lately. It is just a few of the photos that where taken at Bronte and Mathew's Christening. When we heard that Jodi, Justin and the boys where coming over for a visit we arranged the Double Christening. It was done on HMAS STIRLING in the Chapel on board the base. It was a great day.
(I don't know what has happened with the photo the paper looks crooked on the left side..... it isn't in real life... strange.)

I saw a canvas very similar to this on Two Peas Website by a lady on there (sorry I didn't catch her name) using another animal range of papers and then when I saw this Kaiser range I just knew I had to give it a go, especially seeings as I have had this photo of Bronte swinging on her monkey bar printed off for a little while now. Sorry about the glare on the left side of the canvas but it was late afternoon when I finally got it finished and it didn't photograph to well. I actually had a heap of fun doing this canvas, so who knows......maybe more to come. I just love the Kaiser Craft, I would love to be on their Design Team and get all the yummy products before everyone else. Oh well I can dream. LOL.

White with one Design Team.

Once again I am apologising for not getting on here and blogging. Time just seems to slip away from me these days. Adrian is away sailing the seas again and Bronte and I are plodding along like normal.

Anyway I just had to let you all know that I made the White With One Challenge Blog Design Team. Yippee. I love working with white cardstock so this DT suits me, with the added bonus of having to use some colours that I would not normal work with for a great challenge.

This month the Challenge is to use White, Navy and Stars. As soon as I read the criteria I knew what I wanted to do. I have had these photos printed off for so long now and never got around to doing anything with them. But lucky for me they suited the challenge and I was able to create a double layout too. Anyway have a peek and let me know what you think. Then drop by the White With One Blog and see the other girls layouts they are lovely.
