Australian Top50 Scrapbooking Amazing Race

Well the Amazing Race has started at the Australian Top50 Scrapbooking site and I have bought a ticket. Let me tell you it sounds exciting and it a lot of fun so far.

Stop One was of coarse Australia;
The criteria was as follows:
1. Use Aussie slang (You might find some ideas here: http://www.koalanet.com.au/australian-slang.html/)
2. Include an Aussie Image (eg, flag, map, etc.) or an Aussie Animal
3. Use a border punch or scallops - to represent the large iconic structures (opera house, uluru, rugged coastlines)
Here is my layout;

Aussie Pride

Already there has been a Detour and the criteria for that was;
Before embarking on your first international flight, you need to make a detour to the post office to send a letter to your loved ones. It is a really windy day, and while trying to post your letter, it has blown out of your hand!  Scrap a layout or 3 card set with either a postage stamp, envelope or some hidden journalling to get your letter sent to your loved ones and get you back in the race.
Here is my layout that I did - I was a day late submitting it but have been sick....better late than never.

A Day to Remember

The Second Stop is up and I am off to Asia. So I had better get the thinking cap on and strap myself in for the flight.
