Six Simple Steps

It has been a little while since I have done my six simple steps, so I thought I would pop up an easy one today.

Adding Testure to Chipboard

 1. I just wanted the outline of the heart shape so I cut out the centre with my craft knife.

 2. Spray the chipboard with Mist.
 3. Using white ink stamp a grid pattern onto the chipboard.
 4. Scrap some Impasso or Gesson onto the stamp and fill up the small squares in the grid.

5. Press the filled stamp onto the chipbard and when you remove it you will be left with texture.

6. Secure your textured chipboard hearts onto your layout.

I made this layout for Mystical Scrapbooking February Love Cybercrop. It was th Design Team Challenge posted by Sarah - we had to use a corny love title from a list in the gallery. I must admit I have used this title a few times now on other layouts.....so I guess I must be a tad corny myself??

Doggone Cute

I started off the challenge with this layout in mind, but by the time I got to adding the title I had forgotten I was scrapping for a challenge and ly layout had taken on another view. I have wanted a red male mallamute for many years, I have crossed my fingers and wished for a red from many litters and now finaly I have one....so it only seemed fitting to call this layout "Wished and Waited" .....so it didn't really fit the corny title from the list.
