Masters Entries 2013

This year I loved the Scrapbooking Memories Master Challenges so I thought that I would give them a go. Even though I didn't make it as a Master I had a lot of fun doing the challenges and I absolutely love what I make. I seriously haven't had a chance to do a blog post about them and I actually only got them back from Scrapbooking Memories last week so now that I am on leave for two weeks I thought I would try and catch up a bit. So sit back and enjoy my creations.

Paige

The first challenge was to scrap a single layout using a 5in x 7in photo that must be engaging and have eye-contact.  This is my layout with Paige as my subject matter.

Let the Journey Begin

Next there was a double to scrap that reflects on a journey you’ve taken. It didn’t have to be a literal journey it could have also be emotional, temporal etc - I just had to do some of our photos from out time in Bali. You can't really see it in the photo but the background it made from a world stencil that I made on my Cameo and then I water painted and used model paste for the land.

 Cousins

Next we had to create a single layout with a unique background. This can be achieved through using mediums, paper or fabric - I stamped, stencilled, rub ons, gelatos and water painted. A layout of mine and my brothers girls. All girls on our side of the family.

2014 Calender
Create a 2014 calendar. This can be in any shape or format as long as it fits into the posting box - I decided to alter an old book that I bought in a second hand book store - I glued a few pages together to make them extra thick and durable and for each month added a photo from 2013 to reflect what we did in the month.

Well thanks for looking and I can't wait to see what everyone else has done and who is going to be a Master for next year. I think that the list should be out soon.
