Help Needed

Do you ever do a layout that is ho-hum? Well that is how I feel about this one. I started just having a bit of a play and this is what it turned out like....but I am not happy with it. So this is where you all come in. Leave me some suggestions on how I can fix this layout to make it pop and I will randomly draw a winner from the comments and send you a very cool RAK.

Come on - I need your help with this one. Once I have taken on all your comments I will have a play with the layout and upload how it has turned out.

Paint splatters/drips?

I think it is cute with the layers and photo. So the design works. But what about putting it on white cardstock. I think that would make it pop a little more!
And love the splatter/drip idea with paint or mist.

I think it's adorable and off to a great start. I'm thinking a button at the left end of the striped banner (or another smiley face embellishment to create a visual triangle) and then 3 buttons on the right edge of the blue/yellow paper. :)

I was thinking that maybe you just need something in the upper right hand corner to break up that pattern a bit. Maybe tie a ribbon around the top part of the blue/yellow bunny paper. Or hang a white banner for journaling.

Forgot to say how much I love your design. Great photo too!

Love this sweet layout, the muted colors are so pretty. One of my favorite tricks for "sprucing up" a layout is to use a pencil eraser dipped in ink to make random dots on the background. Can't wait to see what you do with it!

Cute layout. I'd add a short banner to the top right corner using either the butterfly pp or the stripe and a third smiley face.

SO cute!

Some ideas: a grassy bottom to go with the flowers...top corner, a label cut in half and an embellishment cluster...little banner/flags...

I like the ink misting on the background idea too.

Good luck with it!
