Counterfiet Kit Challenge - Media Studies

Another great challenge at the Counterfeit Kit Blog this week - Media Studies. You had to use print media as your inspiration. I gathered a few magazines to have a look through and ended up liking the way they landed on the table...kind of like in this photo.. (this photo is not mine I have borrowed it from the internet as I didn't think of taking a photo at the time).

So you can see from the pile of magazines splayed across the table my layout turned out like this:

(SORRY I HAVE HAD TO REMOVE MY LAOUT AS IT IS
OUT FOR PUBLICATION)

Taste of Winter

The cut aparts and project life cards represent the spread of my magazine pile. I stuck mainly to my Counterfeit Kit on this layout... I wanted to add a touch of colour across the top and bottom of the page so I added some patterned paper that was not in my kit....but I pulled it from my scrap pile. It didn't quite feel like cheating by using my scraps. Everything else is from my original kit.

Tracey, I *love* the way that you've interpreted the challenge - what a fantastic way to use up those cards and journalling spots!

What a clever way to interpret the challenge Tracey! Your layout looks fabulous! I might have to scraplift that idea.(with your permission)

How wonderful! I love how you've integrated your title into the banner-esque page, and that teeny stripy strip makes a standout border for your page. No worries that they're scraps - if you had bought a kit you would supplement just the same! Pinned it :D
