Greetings and Salutations everyone. I am back today with my November Counterfiet Kit for the Blog Hop reveal. If you found your way here from Tara's Blog then you are on the right path. If you just happened to stumble across my blog and want to follow the Blog Hop journey then there is a master list at the bottom of htis post.
The kit that was picked this month for our inspiration was the Autumn Hip Kit Club kit. It is a kit that makes you think of cosy days and gives you a homely feeling. There are leaves, flowers, Autumn colours, cute embellishments and lots more. I have chosen to use the main kit as my inspiration but there is a mini kit and add on too. So pop on over to the Hit Kit Club webpage to see what else they have.
Right on to my kit. I have given my kit a name this month and it is:
November Nights
I called it November Nights because of my additions of the dark blues, they kind of remind me of the sky just at twilight and long November nights of sitting around outside under the night sky just before the heat of the Australian Summer starts kicking in.
Here is my full kit.
For my kit I started with the patterned papers, I looked and the main photo of the Hip Kit Club kit and saw Autumn colours and patterns, I was a touch of blues and a hint of pink. I then concentrated on teh patterns; checks, leaves, flowers and fine designs. With that in mind I riffled through my copious amounts of paper and here are the papers that I thought would work.
Next I focused on the embellishments in the main kit. I noticed cute die cuts, stickers, frames, Thickers with touches of gold and little woodland creatures.
With all of that in mind I sorted through my die cuts to see if I had any that would suite the them, and lucky for me I did. I found leaves, apples, trees, cute word animals and mushrooms all which I thought would work. I added a few small envelopes for something a bit different. I also found these plastic leaves dipped with gold on the tips which I thought would work well.
I found a couple of polariod frames that complimented the colours I had picked so they got added to embellishment pile.
To finish off my kit I added a few labels then Thickers in woodgrain and gold.
I really love how it all has come together although it doesn't have the homely feeling that the original kit does it is certainly an Autumn kit that I am sure I will love to use.
Now here is the Master Blog Hop List for you to follow on with the blog, from here you should be on your way to Tina's Blog:Counterfeit Kit Challenge
