Craftin' Around the World - April Challenge Reveal

This month we're serving up double the inspiration, like normal. That's right — not one, but two fabulous sketches to play with each month, plus the colour inspiration: one for cardmakers and one for scrapbookers. Naturally, I gravitated straight to the scrapbook sketch because, let's face it, I am definitely more of a scrapbooker than a card maker.

And what better occasion to scrap than our recent cruise holiday—specifically, the glamorous Gatsby theme night. The girls and I went all out, channeling our inner flapper vibes with pearls, feathers, and enough sparkle to rival the roaring twenties. It was so much fun getting glammed up, and I knew these photos were perfect for the sketch.

The April scrapbook sketch had such a playful vibe — layers, clusters, and a strong focal photo space — ideal for showcasing those dazzling Gatsby night memories. I had a blast adding gold star accents, art deco patterns, and of course my favourite thing right now ... a tag. Of course, my metal die cutter got a workout with all those stars — I mean, who can resist a good star when you are going full Gatsby?

I actually didn't have to dig far in my stash this month when creating, as I had most of these in my premade Counterfeit Kit that I made for March.... I have taken to keeping my kit on my scraping desk and using ti first, just so that I can use up my stash and it makes scrapping faster, as it cuts down on me spending hours and getting distracted with what I have in my stash.

Whether you're a cardmaker, a scrapbooker, or a bit of both, this month's challenge has something for everyone. So, grab those photos, follow the sketch, and let your creativity shine.
