Mrs Aeronaut Collection - Design Team Reveal for 3Quarter Designs

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing my layout I created with the beautiful Mrs Aeronaut collection from 3Quarter Designs. It’s not often Paige swaps her usual tomboy style for something a little more girly, so this photo from her Year 10 Graduation was the perfect match for this collection. I love how the elegant florals soften the page, while the clockwork cogs, butterflies and vintage steampunk details add just the right amount of edge to reflect her personality. It really is the perfect balance of feminine and strong. Although Paige would argue with me over the deep pinks in the collection - I think it is perfect.

One of the things I love most about the 3Quarter Designs 12x12 collections is that they really do contain almost everything you need to create a beautiful layout. The papers, fussy-cut elements and coordinating embellishments work together so effortlessly that your page is almost three-quarters complete before you even start adding your own finishing touches.

From there, it's simply a matter of making it your own. For me, that usually means a little extra texture with a stencil, a few splatters, perhaps an enamel dot or two, and sometimes a title. Although, with all the gorgeous printed graphic papers included in the collections, even that isn't always necessary.

The Photo / Memory Mats are one of my favourite additions to the 3Quarter Designs collections. They make planning your photo placement so much easier and double as a protective cover while adding those final splatters and finishing touches.

For this layout I couldn't resist reaching for the Gimme More Pack, where I used one of the rice paper pieces as my title. The "Believe in yourself and you can do great things" sentiment that I tore from the rest of the rice paper was the perfect finishing touch for a graduation layout and tied the whole design together beautifully.

If you love creating richly layered scrapbook pages with plenty of texture, depth and gorgeous details, I can highly recommend the Mrs Aeronaut collection. It is such a versatile range that blends soft florals with vintage industrial charm, making it perfect for everything from elegant portraits to milestone memories like this one.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this layout inspires you to get creating with the gorgeous Mrs Aeronaut collection from 3Quarter Designs.

Happy scrapping.

Mrs Aeronaut Collection - Design Team reveal for 3Quarter Designs

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing another layout created with the stunning Mrs Aeronaut collection from 3Quarter Designs.

This collection was the perfect choice for these precious photos of Bronte. The rich burgundy and blush tones, beautiful florals and vintage steampunk elements work together so effortlessly, creating a page that feels both elegant and a little whimsical. I love how the clockwork cogs and honeycomb details add interest without taking away from the softness of the flowers, making it a wonderful collection for documenting those special milestone moments.

For this layout I really focused on building depth through layers. The large floral cluster became the heart of the design, with the cogs, pocket watch and honeycomb tucked in amongst the blooms to create lots of little details for the eye to discover. One of my favourite finishing touches was adding the faceted gems amongst the flowers. It took a little experimenting to find the right balance, but those tiny pops of sparkle help draw your eye around the page and finish the design without overwhelming it.

One of the things I love most about the Mrs Aeronaut collection is how easy it is to create rich, detailed layouts. The papers, florals, cogs, butterflies and vintage embellishments are all beautifully coordinated, so layering comes together naturally.

Whether you prefer clean designs or pages filled with texture and dimension, this collection gives you everything you need to make each layout uniquely your own.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this layout inspires you to create with the gorgeous Mrs Aeronaut collection from 3Quarter Designs and preserve those precious memories in a page you'll treasure for years to come.

Happy Scrapping.

Silent Night Collection - Design Team Reveal for 3Quater Designs

Hello everyone, today I am sharing a layout created with the beautiful Silent Night Collection from 3Quarter Designs.

For this layout I really wanted to make the most of the pockets and envelopes from the Gimme More Pack. I had lots of Christmas photos I wanted to include, rather than choosing just one or two, so I used the pockets to tuck away some of those extra family moments. I love being able to pull out the tags and discover another photo underneath. It makes the layout a little interactive and is such a great way of including more photos without overcrowding the page.

I built the background with lots of overlapping pieces from the collection, mixing the darker papers with the softer pinks and creams. I then tucked the photos and tags in at different angles so it had that slightly jumbled collection-of-memories feel, rather than everything being too neat and structured.

For the title I used the envelope with the circular stitched Christmas decoration towards the bottom by  laying some of the foliage and flowers across it and added the word Christmas cut out from one of the cards in the Gimme More pack, making it a feature amongst all the photos rather than having one large traditional title.

There are so many gorgeous details in Silent Night to play with. I used the Christmas trees, Santa, bells, nutcrackers, baubles and other little festive pieces throughout the page, layering some over the pockets and photos to help bring everything together. The little wooden train along the bottom was perfect for creating a continuous line across the layout and grounding all those layers above it.

I love the colour combination in this collection. The deep burgundy and black give it plenty of contrast, while the dusty pinks, creams and traditional Christmas greens soften everything beautifully. It is festive without being restricted to the usual bright red and green Christmas palette, which makes it really easy to work with different photos.

The Silent Night Collection, together with the Gimme More Pack, gave me so many options for creating layers, hiding photos and adding all those little details that make you want to keep looking around the page. It was a lovely way to bring together lots of family moments and turn them into one big collection of Christmas memories.

Silent Night Collection - Design Team Reveal for 3Quarter Designs

Hello everyone, today I am sharing another layout created with the gorgeous Silent Night Collection from 3Quarter Designs.

I have to say, the pink and white striped paper would have to be one of my favourites from this collection. There is something about those soft pink and white stripes mixed with the burgundy, cream and touches of green that reminds me of candy canes, peppermint sweets and old-fashioned Christmas treats. As soon as I started putting this layout together, I knew it was going to be perfect for this fun photo of the girls with the giant candy cane.

I really wanted the photo to remain the main focus of the page, so I built the design around it using some of the wonderful Christmas elements from the collection. The large Christmas tree was perfect tucked into the bottom left beside the photo, while the beautiful floral border running down the opposite side helps frame the photo and draw your eye towards it.

The hanging Christmas bulbs were far too gorgeous to cover up, so I added a floral cluster over the top and allowed the bulbs to hang down underneath. The rich burgundy roses help bring some of the deeper colours from the rest of the page into this corner while still allowing those beautiful bulbs to be a feature.

For my title, I used the quote “Cherish the little moments because they become Christmas memories.” I cut the quote into two strips and layered them across the bottom of the photo and Christmas tree. I thought the words were particularly fitting for this photo and I love that the title becomes part of the design rather than needing a large separate title elsewhere on the page.

The Christmas tree was such a lovely feature on its own that I didn’t want to cover too much of it. I added just a few little details around the base, including the presents, and allowed it to become part of the cluster surrounding my photo.

I also had a bit of fun playing with the acetate pieces from the collection. In the bottom right corner I layered the coloured nutcracker over the acetate nutcracker, offsetting the acetate slightly so that it almost looks like his shadow. I did the same with the candy cane, and I love the effect it created.

It is such a simple way to use the acetate, but it adds another layer of interest and dimension without making the cluster bulky. I kept building this little corner with some flowers, pinecones and smaller elements, then added the “Fa la la la la la” strip across the front to help ground everything and connect the cluster back towards the centre of the layout.

I really enjoyed treating each of the clusters on this page almost like its own little piece of artwork. The Christmas tree and title form one feature area, the bulbs and flowers create another, and the nutcracker and candy cane make up the third. Keeping those three areas connected through the colours and repeated Christmas elements helped balance everything around the photo.

I think what I enjoyed most about creating this layout was the colour palette. The pink and white stripes, deep burgundy roses, snowy greens and soft creams give Silent Night such a different Christmas feel. They worked perfectly with the giant candy cane in my photo and gave me plenty of opportunities to repeat those colours throughout the page. I love how this one came together. It is fun and Christmassy, a little bit sweet and candy-inspired, and most importantly it showcases one of those silly little family moments that make the best Christmas memories.

Timeless Gallery Collection - Design Team Reveal for 3Quarter Designs

Hello everyone, welcome back, today I'm sharing my Design Team layout I created with the gorgeous Timeless Gallery collection from 3Quarter Designs.

I have to admit, when I first opened this collection I was completely stumped, It's so different from my usual scrapbook style that I wasn't sure where to begin. But once I embraced the idea of creating a gallery wall, everything just clicked.

Layering the beautiful frames, shelves, home décor pieces and treasured family photos together became so much fun, and before long my layout started to feel like a warm, welcoming family home.

This page is filled with some of my most precious memories. I included our wedding photo, a few favourite family photos with the girls, a special photo of Adrian and me, and even a photo of our very first Malamutes, Nanook and Sharnii. Having all of these memories displayed together really makes it feel like walking into a home where every picture tells part of our family's story.

One of the things I loved most about this collection was building the scene. Instead of creating traditional embellishment clusters, I treated the page like I was decorating a room. The shelves, books, lamps, clocks, plants and vases all help create balance while naturally drawing your eye from one photograph to the next. The wainscoting background ties everything together beautifully and gives the whole page a cosy vintage feel without overwhelming the photos.

This collection really challenged me to think differently, and I'm so glad it did. Sometimes stepping outside your creative comfort zone is exactly what you need, you might just surprise yourself with what you create. Timeless Gallery is unlike anything I've worked with before, but it was such a rewarding collection to scrapbook with and one that allows you to tell your story in a completely unique way.

Violet Dreams Collection - Design Team Reveal for 3Quater Designs

Today I am sharing my latest Design Team layout for 3Quarter Designs, created with the beautiful Violet Dreams collection. Violet Dreams is such a gorgeous range to work with. The combination of soft purples, fresh greens and beautiful florals gives the collection a lovely spring feel, making it perfect for these sweet photos of the girls with the lambs.

The collection is filled with the cutest animal images, and I couldn’t resist making the large duck a feature of my page. I positioned it beside the larger photo and nestled it into the floral border so it felt connected to the design rather than simply sitting on top.

The little rabbits were then added to the opposite side as a smaller supporting cluster, helping to carry the playful animal theme across the layout.

Another feature I really wanted to highlight was the collection of ornate frames. They were far too beautiful to hide behind the photographs, so I layered the different purple and green frames around the page and allowed sections of them to remain visible. They add depth and structure while helping to guide the eye from one photograph to the other.

The title “So Sweet” was an easy choice for these photos. I positioned it across the frames and the top of the smaller photograph so it became part of the main design rather than floating separately on the background.

To give the page a little more definition, I hand-drew a dark-purple border around the outside. I deliberately kept the lines loose and uneven, then added small groups of dots around the border and focal areas. This suited the whimsical feel of the collection and helped contain all the detail within the page.

One of the things I love about 3Quarter Designs collections is how beautifully everything coordinates. The patterned papers, borders Mats, tag, frames and all the fussy-cut elements give you such a strong foundation, while still leaving plenty of room to layer, experiment and add your own style.

Violet Dreams is perfect for spring photos, farm visits, Easter memories or any page that calls for pretty florals and a touch of whimsy. The adorable animals really do make this collection something special.

Thanks for stopping by today. I hope this layout inspires you to take a closer look at the Violet Dreams collection and create something “So Sweet” of your own.

Timeless Gallery Collection - 3Quarter Designs Reveal

Hello everyone, today I'm sharing my second layout created with the beautiful Timeless Gallery collection from 3Quarter Designs. This layout brought back so many childhood memories for me. As soon as I started playing with the Timeless Gallery collection, I was reminded of spending hours decorating my dollhouse, carefully arranging furniture, pictures and little treasures until everything felt just right. That's exactly how creating this page felt, building a cosy room one piece at a time and finding the perfect home for each photo and embellishment.

For this page I imagined a family room filled with the memories that mean the most to us. The shelves, books, lamps, vases and home décor pieces all work together to create a warm and inviting scene, while the framed photographs become the heart of the layout. I love how the wallpaper background instantly gives the feeling of stepping into a home where every picture has a story to tell.

Rather than creating traditional embellishment clusters, I used the decorative pieces as though I was styling a room. Tucking books onto the shelves, balancing the lamp with the vase and layering the smaller décor items across the cabinet helped create a natural flow while keeping the focus firmly on the photos. The title banner, Moments Frozen in Time, was the perfect finishing touch and captures exactly what scrapbooking is all about.

Timeless Gallery has been such a fun collection to work with and has definitely pushed me outside my usual style. It reminded me that sometimes the most enjoyable projects are the ones that challenge you to think differently.

If you've been looking for a collection that lets you tell your story in a unique and creative way, I can highly recommend giving this one a try.

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I hope this layout inspires you to create your own little gallery wall filled with the people, pets and memories that make your house a home.
